Juicy, succulent pork chops steeped in a marinade of lemon juice and soy sauce and then grilled to perfection.
¼ cup lemon juice
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon brown sugar
¼ teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
Salt and pepper
4 pork rib chops, about 1 inch thick
Combine all the ingredients except the pork chops and mix well. Pour into a re-sealable bag. Add the pork chops and toss so that they get well coated. Marinate for thirty minutes in the refrigerator.
Take the pork chops out of the refrigerator and set aside till they reach room temperature.
Grill over a high heat for three minutes on each side.
Next, reduce the heat to moderate and cook for about 6 minutes. Season and serve immediately.
Variation: Substitute the lemon juice with ¼ cup of orange juice.
