Try this recipe for baked ham and you will never want to bake ham any other way. This baked ham is moist, succulent and flavorful and is great for the holiday season or family get-togethers.
1 whole bone-in ham, weighing about 15 lbs.
1 lb. brown sugar
1/2 cup yellow mustard
Combine the mustard and brown sugar in a bowl and mix well till it forms a thick paste.
Trim the ham of any extra fat. Line your baking dish with aluminum foil. Place the ham on the foil and brush the top evenly with the mustard and sugar paste. Seal the open ends of the foil. Bake at 350 deg. F for 4 hours. Wait for about an hour before carving.
If you have any left-over mustard-sugar paste, you can pour it off into a sauce boat and serve it as a sauce for the ham.
